Snooker Paul Hunter died on Monday night after losing his battle with cancer. Hunter, one of the great players of our times, won the Wembley Masters three times and was also a World Championship semi-finalist who firmly believed he would one-day win at the Crucible. Before being diagnosed with cancer of the stomach in March 2005, the Englishmanwas ranked 5th in the overall world ranking. He was an example for all suffering from this deadly disease, always smiling and one of the most charismatic players in the history of this sport. And most important of all, despite his health problems, he kept on doing what he liked most: playing snooker! Snooker was for him a way of living. The disease couln't hold him away from the green table. This Saturday he would have been 28 years old. In memoriam Paul Hunter: we will miss you.
