Snooker - UK Championship After a neck to neck first session, yesterday night at York in the final Peter Ebdon proved his top form and managed to win 10-6. The match itself was entertaining, with the Englishman playing probably the best Snooker of his entire career, offering Stephen Hendry few chances. The latter failed to fully concentrate and missed some easy shots. Thus, Peter Ebdon raised the trophy above his head and, thanks to the accorded points for the win, has leapt up to fourth place in the latest World Rankings. After the match, the winner declared: "I'm over the moon."
