Snooker
The Snooker Northern Ireland Trophy progresses to the upper stages. Yesterday Ronnie O'Sullvian had to wait for the decisive 9th match to beat his opponent Stuart Pettman. Ronnie the Rocket will be facing Matthew Stevens in the 3rd round of the trophy, promising an exciting match.

Cycling
The ENECA Tour (Tour of Benelux) has started today. Gerolsteiner's Stefan Schumacher has won the prologue and tomorrow there will be a stage that will favour the sprinters.
