WRC Marcus Gronholm proved he is invincible on Rally Finland by triumphing on his home event for the sixth time in seven years after a dominant performance. World champion Sebastien Loeb finished 2nd, one minute 06.7 seconds behind. The frenchman is still the leader in the overall ranking, followed up by Gronholm.

MotoGP - 125cc Overall leader Alvaro Bautista finished first, followed by Mika Kallio and Gabor Talmacsi.
MotoGP - 250cc Top rider Jorje Lorenzo won the GP at Brno. Andrea Dovizioso just managed to snatch the 2nd place in front of Hiroshi Aoyama at a photo finish.
MotoGP Loris Capirossi was the winner of the Czech GP at Brno. Il dottore Valentino Rossi finished second after a breathtaking duel with youngster Dani Pedrosa who finished 3rd.
Leader in the overall ranking is still Nicky Hayden, who finished 9th.
