Cycling Gerolsteiner'’s David Kopp took victory on the penultimate stage of the Eneco Tour in a mass sprint finish in Sint-Truiden. With only 1 stage remaining, George Hincapie keeping his red jersey as a sign of the overall lead and he is looking forward to ending the ENECO Tour tomorrow with an overall victory.

Football - Transfer Relegated Juventus have signed defender Jean-Alain Boumsong from Newcastle for 5 million euros. This is the "old lady's" first signing, after selling top players Fabio Cannavaro, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Lilian Thuram, Emerson and Gianluca Zambrotta this summer.
