Cycling - Vuelta Alexandre Vinokourov compensated for missing out on a victory in the mountains yesterday, by winning stage 8 of the Vuelta in north-western Galicia. The Kazakh, who was beaten to the line by Alejandro Valverde on Friday, had time to raise his hands today, after winning an uphill sprint in Lugo.
