Football - Champions League (Qualifiers) Steaua Bucharest has qualified in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League!!! After a breathtaking match against Standard Liege, Steaua have won 2-1 (agg. 4-3), thanks to the goals scored by Valentin Badea.

Cycling The ENECO Tour of the Benelux ended in chaos on Wednesday as leaders Stefan Schumacher and George Hincapie collided in a frantic sprint just metres from the finish line, leaving the American sprawled on the tarmac road, while Schumacher finished third, giving him overall victory.
